The Sleeper Awakes

Years have passed since last I set foot in Mulgore, and much has changed. I have felt the bones of the earth groan as war rages through Azeroth, yet that is like the buzzing of a fly when set next to the troubling whispers I have heard in the Emerald Dream.

A cataclysm hangs over this land, a potentiality whose precise nature eludes my understanding. When I was sent from the Dream, I had but one solid clue: a name. And so I settled my foot upon a darkened path, not knowing where it went nor knowing what purpose would be served.

But I do know that now is not a time for dreaming. I can no longer rest upon the knowledge that tomorrow will bring a new day, brimming with all the possibilities of a new future. No, a heavy weight has settled across my shoulders, and though I once struggled to shrug it off and silence the voice in my heart that spoke the difficult truths, I now embrace my burden and pray that my years of willful ignorance have not lead to irreperable harm. Indeed, I can no longer deny that it is my actions and decisions today that will decide tomorrow.

My path is lit by the name I took with me from the Dream, a name to which a voice in need had cried out. My journey will truly begin when I find the Cauldron Born.
